THE ZOOM ERA

“Coronavirus offers a blank page for new beginning” // Li Adelkoort

when the global trendologist Li Adelkoort addresses in her vision the new possibilities that the corona plague has brought with it in the context of the global fashion industry, I knew it's relevant for me as well. I believe that every entrepreneur, that this crisis has shaken his business, and is committed to resilience and flexibility, will emerge from it. Thus, when the crisis had stopped TLVstyle ongoing activities with a squeak of the brakes, I quickly realized that I was being given a chance to develop myself in the digital sphere.

I started to develop a ZOOM gathering with international and local Israelis communities and found it enlightening to Deepen the dialog and context with new and old fellows.

The ZOOMs offer panels and virtual tours of the city's most innovative studios. I found that enlightening the journey with fashion stories from the early days of the country till nowadays fashion scene bring lots of interest, and still allowing my guests to meet the makers, feel the vibe and get the inside scoop on Israeli's fashion and design trends, also under the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hemda Ben Yehuda

The wife or Eliezer ben Yehuda, who revived the Hebrew language, coined the word "fashion" in 1904 and introduced it in the covers of the Hebrew press.

I had the owner to run great ZOOM virtual fashion experiences for circles of women from various international organizations such as Temple Emanu-el, UJA Federation NYC, Philadelphia fashion incubator, JNF women, Israel bonds Maryland, the good gooders, dozen of international journalists, aside private meetings of circles of women that wanted to support and celebrate Israel's creation and Israelis fashion academics such as Bazalel and Tiltan.

Bezalel Academy of Art and Design

I am thankful for the feedback that continues to arrive and my fire drives me to continue with my strong mission to bridge between the Israeli creative communities and the international women through my special narrative and create these valuable experiences, such as:

“Fabulous exploration by Galit Reismann into the history and current happenings in Israeli fashion.  Toda raba!   Galit introduced us to young, innovative designers working in Israel today who are responding to the call of sustainable fashion plus the reality of extraordinary 3D printable clothes! I really enjoyed Galit's fine presentation and discovery of Israeli fashion and designers past and present.

“The goal was to create the same vibe as relays on her in-person tours and to let women feel as though they were on a virtual trip to Israel. The result exceeded our expectations. Galit’s presentation took us on an Israeli fashion journey that began before the founding of Israel's state and followed through to the present day. Through video, photos, sketches, and her narrative, she introduced us to the most cutting-edge designers and innovators.

I welcome you to join me and offer this experience of ZOOM lectures in the new year for your circles of women – looking forward to meeting you all!
